We are a TSX Venture Exchange listed exploration and mine development company focused on gold in West Africa.
DFR Gold has assembled a board and management team with a strong track record in gold exploration and development. Collectively, the individuals who comprise the team have discovered gold deposits that have ultimately boasted aggregate resources in excess of 50Moz gold.
In Burkina Faso we are advancing the Cascades gold project, a highly prospective gold exploration project which represents an exceptional opportunity for future development. Cascades has a Mineral Resource Estimate prepared in accordance with NI 43-101 of 264,000 oz. @ 1.52.g/t Au indicated and 371,000 oz. @ 1.67 g/t Au inferred.
DFR also has a 51% controlling interest in the Gurara project, Nigeria, where it has added in June 2024, an additional 25.5% interest to its initial 25.5% in Gurara Holdings Ltd., earned when acquiring Moydow in June 2022. Gurara Holdings holds four gold exploration projects, where historically very little systematic, modern exploration has been undertaken.
In addition, we own 100% of the Beravina Zircon Project in Madagascar. Beravina has a NI 43-101 compliant inferred Mineral Resource Estimate reporting 1.5m tonnes at 22.7% zircon (ZrSiO4) equivalent to 15.3% ZrO2.
