Diamond Fields Resumes Marine Mining Operations

Cape Town, November 20, 2006 – Diamond Fields International Ltd. (DFI:TSX) (“DFI” or the “Company”) is very pleased to report that its mining vessel mv DF Discoverer has resumed offshore mining operations in Namibia. The Company’s mining vessel mv DF Discoverer recommenced operations on site in the Diaz Reef area in mining licence ML111 offshore Luderitz, Namibia on 19 November 2006 following the recently completed port call for statutory dry docking, repair, maintenance and upgrade programs.
