Resignation of Director

Vancouver, B.C., February 6, 2009: Diamond Fields International Ltd. (DFI:TSX) (“DFI” or the “Company”) announces that one of its non-executive directors, John Sisay, has resigned from the Board. Mr. Sisay was recently named chief executive officer of Titanium Resources Group, Ltd., a London AIM exchange company, and resigned from the DFI board to spend more time meeting his new duties.

Speaking on the resignation, Wayne Malouf, Chairman and CEO said “Because of his extensive business and government relations experience in Africa, John Sisay provided valuable insight to the Board and management. The Board and the Company thank John for his contributions and wish him the best of luck in his new position.”
