Diamond Fields International Ltd. (DFI-TSE) is pleased to announce that Roger J. Daniel has been appointed as Director of Operations. Mr. Daniel has over 30 years experience in the mining industry including six years as Project Director for another publicly listed marine diamond producer. Most recently, he has acted as an independent consultant to diamond businesses in South Africa and Namibia.

Mr. Daniel will provide overall direction to the Company’s operations in Southern Africa, including the Company’s joint venture operations with Trans Hex Group and the development of the Company’s non-joint venture concession areas. Within the Company’s Luderitz concessions (but excluding the joint venture areas which comprise only 0.6% of the area of the Company’s entire Luderitz concessions), the Company has a combined probable reserve and inferred resource of over 400,000 carats in the Diaz Reef area and has several other prospective target areas identified in previous sampling programs. Through the acquisition of its own mining and sampling vessels, the Company plans to mine Diaz Reef and increase its resource base by further sampling of the Conical Beach, Staple Basin and Boat Bay areas.

Frank Waldron, Chairman and CEO of DFI stated: “We are pleased to attract highly qualified individuals such as Mr. Daniel to complement our management team. Mr. Daniel possesses the necessary experience and expertise to accelerate the strategic implementation of the Company’s expansion program.”

The Company also owns deep-water concessions off the coast of South Africa and two land concessions in Namibia.

Mark Collins has resigned as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Diamond Fields in order to pursue personal interests. The Board of Diamond Fields has also accepted the resignation of Daniel Johnson as Officer and Director of the Company. The Board of Diamond Fields would like to thank Mr. Collins and Mr. Johnson for their efforts and contributions to the Company.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
