Diamond Fields Awarded New Namibian Marine Diamond Mining Licences

Cape Town, November 13, 2007: Diamond Fields International Ltd. (DFI:TSX) (“DFI” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has received notification from the Namibian Ministry of Mines and Energy that its application to convert its existing Exclusive Prospecting Licences (EPL’s) 1607A and 1607B to Mining Licences (ML’s) for marine diamonds has been successful.

The newly awarded Mining Licences are ML138 and ML139 and have areas of 9,200 hectares (92 square kilometres) and 13,600 hectares (136 square kilometres) respectively. ML138 has an initial tenure of 12 years and ML139 is valid for 22 years.
