Management Appointment

Cape Town, November 15, 2007: Diamond Fields International Ltd. (DFI:TSX) (“DFI” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Ransome as Chief Operating Officer. He was born in Singapore and educated in the United Kingdom, where he obtained his B.Sc. (Hons) degree in geology from Oxford Brookes University. He subsequently undertook post graduate studies for M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, prior to working as a consultant in the mineral exploration industry.

Ian brings to the Company over 12 years of exploration management experience in the African theatre, including over five years experience in West Africa, where he has worked in Sierra Leone, the Republic of Guinea, Liberia and Benin, primarily in diamond and gold exploration. During the last year, Ian has worked as a consultant for the Company, where he has been responsible for developing DFI’s onshore exploration programs in Liberia, Madagascar and Zambia, assessment of potential projects as well as in day to day management of the company.

DFI’s Board of Directors believes that Ian’s outstanding skills and experience are going to be of significant benefit in the Company’s development and also considers that this appointment will strengthen management and ensure continuity within the organisation.
